I got pushed out of bed, so I figured I might as well get my camera out and take a couple pictures!

Grant's Piano Recital & Elise 4 1/2 Mo.

Here are some pictures of Elise at 4 1/2 Months. I did them in the wrong order because I wanted them to be showing the progression of a smile from non-smiling to smile-oops :) No time to change it now. Just go to the bottom of the series and move up. :)


Elise has the sweetest disposition. I think its neat that her name means "soft mannered" because that is how I think of her. She is a darling.

Grant had his 2007 Spring Recital in May. He did a great job and when I asked him is he was nervous he just said "nope!". I had butterflies for him, but he had the song memorized and did perfect. Lauryn just started piano and is looking forward to her first recital this fall. :)

Blessing Dress Retakes

Mom made a comment a while back that she wasn't sure people could see Elise's dress real well in the first pictures I took in her blessing dress because she was holding her blanket which blended into her dress. Well, this gave me an excuse to take more pictures of her and they turned out cute. I think you can see the dress really well now-don't you mom? :)

This is Elise's four month picture below. She actually smiled and I was so excited when it came out! (It's agony to wait for film, I tell you!) Anyway, the lisi lamb is getting smaller and smaller! It can't possibly be that Elise is growing that fast!

Kari, Betsy and I had a great sister's "retreat" the first weekend in May. It was so fun to get to hang out, although I really wish it had been longer! Betsy brought Live and Gwen and Kari and I just brought our babies. I took the train down and we met in St. Louis. It was the first time we had all seen each other's babies. Dan and Meredith came down too, but I think I must not have pulled out my camera until after they left for some reason!

We got hats for Elise and Gwen at the St. Louis Zoo. (I'm loving Elise's double chin in all these pictures!)

Uncle Dave is practicing for his future triplets! Good job Dave!

Elise and Luke are only two weeks apart and they were so sweet together. They were both completely oblivious to the other--hey look--matching chin chubbies!

We're just missing Spencer to have a complete picture of the 2006-2007 batch of Holt Grandkids! Spencer was born March 2006, Gwen in September 2006, Elise in January of 2007 and Luke in February of 2007.

I had so much fun with these pictures. I even managed to snap one of her smiling, which is very rare! Elise is really chubby for her size but she is overall only in the 10th percentile so she is just like a little-bitty-butter-ball!

This picture was taken in my kitchen and the kids all look so sweet. Lauryn wouldn't look at the camera because she was upset that she wasn't the one holding Elise :). What a funny girl. We are having a great time together but I have yet to get a picture of Elise smiling. As soon as I get one I'll put it right up!
